The Division of Communications works with districts, divisions, bureaus, and offices across KDOT to support media relations; strengthen our connections with the public, businesses, and government partners; guide the agency during crisis situations and share information with employees.
Our team works hard to provide clear, consistent communication for both internal and external audiences.
Directing Inquiries
Media: Media calls should go to the Division of Communications or to the district Public Information Officers.
Project Public Engagement: Questions about public meetings or project outreach/events, should be directed to the Public Involvement Team. District-level questions also may be directed to the district Public Information Officers.
Legislators: All inquiries from legislators or legislative staff should be directed to the Division of Policy.
